Before and After
Example #8
These pictures represent a staging consultation for a home that had been on the market for 8 months. The homeowners had already moved into their new home. What remained was a house with great bones but dated interior elements. The homeowner's budget was very tight - under $250. The biggest changes were made by removing wallpaper and repainting. The most dramatic results using this approach were made in the dining room and in the treatment of a wall shelving unit off the kitchen. The chandelier and curtain rod in the dining room was also replaced with more up-to-date wrought iron fixtures. They repainted the bathroom vanities a darker color and switched out the hardware to a more updated brushed nickel. Other than that, by adding a few simple touches with towels and removing some oddly placed wall art, they were able to make significant changes considering their financial constraints.
