Things to Consider:

Guarantee:  I guarantee all of my Redesign and Staging services 100%. I ask that you wait at least one week but no longer than 2 weeks before deciding if you and/or your family are fully satisfied or not. Some folks take longer to acclimate to changes. If you or a family member is unsure about the redesign, a few days is all that is usually needed to acclimate and form a favorable opinion. If it is decided that you or a family member are not happy with the new arrangement, I will either re-do the service or refund your fee 100% AND return your space(s) to its original arrangement. Please note that if I am involved in any aspects of the staging of your home, I can not guarantee its sale date or final selling price. Also, consultations are non-refundable but I will come back and re-do the service if you re not satisfied with the original evaluation.

Prior to our Appointment: Please take the time to review your furnishings throughout your home. By the time I arrive you will know what you would be willing to let me use or not use as well as move around to and from other rooms.

My Fee Policy: Some Redesigners may possibly deem your belongings as inappropriate towards achieving a design goal and then include purchase recommendations to the design plans. They will often make a profit from this service. Certainly, there is nothing unethical or dishonest with this approach. It is a very common practice. I simply would like to ensure your understanding of my methods and philosophy. My motto is Real Design for Real People. I will not judge your belongings or try to sell you any products. I will not upsell my own services. My goal is to highlight and arrange your items to their best advantage so they are visually attractive while accommodating you and your family’s lifestyle. If it is your wish to supplement or replace any of your furnishings, then I will be glad to advise and assist you in making those purchases. The only additional fee that may be incurred would be for my extra time and expertise. This would be agreed upon prior to initiating any extra service. You will always know how much you are paying and what you are paying for.

Payments: As described with each service, I only accept cash check or money orders if you wish to pay me at the completion of your service. If you would prefer to pay using a debit or credit card, you may do so PRIOR to services through my website. Click here for details.

Assistants: Depending on the nature and scope of the job, I may need to bring an assistant to help with moving large furniture pieces and such. During our consultation, I will determine if an assistant is to be necessary. If it will be, the fee will be $20 per hour paid directly by you to that individual. This brings me to my next point……

When I arrive to perform a redesign, I ask that only immediate family members be allowed to be in your home. Inviting friends, relatives and neighbors will only serve as a distraction and extend the amount of time it will take to complete our work. However, in the event I have predetermined the need for an assistant, feel free to ask someone over who would be able to help me in lieu of one of my assistants. Please advise me prior to our appointment if you have made this arrangement.

Your Input: My preference is to have you there in the home while I work. This way you are able to express any concerns or dislikes while I am still present at the house and can easily adapt my design to better suit your wishes. Please feel free to speak up if you do not like what I am doing. You will not offend me. My goal is your complete satisfaction. If I need to stay beyond the projected timeframe in order to do the work completely to your liking, I will.

Sharing Information: If you are interested, I am more than willing to describe to you what I am doing as I go along. Perhaps you can apply the information I share to another area of your home or even a friend’s!

Timeframes: If I finish your priority room sooner than expected, I will continue to move onto the secondary rooms you wish to have redesigned. I will do so as time permits. I will always give you your money’s worth. If you do not have any other rooms for me to help you with, please understand I do not discount my service should I finish sooner than anticipated. To advise you or perform redesigns in other areas of your house is always an option in this situation.

Testimonials: I will ask you for a written testimonial at the completion of the redesign. Please let me know in writing (good or bad) your feelings about the redesign experience and the results you received through my services.

Cancellation Policy: - Please alert me ASAP if you need to reschedule or cancel any appointments with me. It is simply respectful of my time and schedule.

As a courtesy, and in respect for your time and schedule, if I need to reschedule an appointment with you for reasons beyond my control, I will do so ASAP and deduct $25 from the cost of the scheduled service.
